Recently had my Canondale Trail 5 in for a Brake upgrade, the guys in store were very helpful and full of knowledge and together we found some Shimano brakes to suit my needs.Great price, great fitting job and all done in a timely manner! Highly recommend Hayball Cycles for an honest job.
Used Hayballs to source a suitable bike through Cyclescheme. Found the guys to be extremely helpful, friendly and patient. Am very happy with the service I received and the support before, during and after the purchase. I also preferred the general experience of shopping here compared to another well-known cycle shop in Salisbury.
Generally Hayballs do a good job, however I was a little angry to notice that they hammered a screwdriver into a axel bolt to knock it free, taking a chunk of metal out of the bolt! the part is the best part of 50 to get a new one. I understand that sometimes when your working on your bike a little hammering is sometimes needed, but if your being paid to fix something you should always ask or notify the customer that your about to do something which could leave damage or scratches!!! Letting the customer discover it later down the road isnt a recipe for success! This negative review could have been avoided if the mechanic (who wont be named) picked up the phone. Safe to say I will be avoiding this store from now on.
