One of the most effective 3 days Bible studies I've ever attended. Whereas I would normally rely on commentaries, opinions and various sermons to gain understanding...here we were taught to slow down, observe the text, facts, character and context in order to garner interpretation. It goes without saying I'll be attending subsequent sessions.
Have just attended a training day at Maryhill Evangelical Church in Glasgow. It was a great morning that has helped to fan into flame my passion for studying the bible. We all need encouragement no matter how little or much we are familiar with the bible. Precept gives the tools to study the bible for yourself. Best Saturday morning I have had for a while.
A superb, eye opening incomparable Bible study which is changing lives and turning people to Christ. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Try it, it will change you, your life and your eternal destiny.
I had a great, spiritual, uplifting time with precept ministry this weekend. I have learned so much and I am going to use the material and skills to to help and teach when I get back to Kent. God bless Nigel and Molly for all their teaching on the book of Titus. I also spend time with some lovely Christians. How great God's Word is for today's society. Fantastic The inductive Bible study method is simple to follow but the benefits are overwhelming. You go deeper and deeper into God's word, building our relationship with our God and Saviour which by the power of His Spirit totally transforms our lives. I can honestly say it is addictive, I just want to know my God more and more and be transformed more and more into the likeness of His blessed SonAll I can do is to encourage you to have a go.
