Posting on behalf of my friend. Her key snapped in her lock on the front door. She called in and they came in half an hour so speedy service. However she was charged an extortionate rate for what the service actually entailed. He got the snapped key out in under 10 minutes without any replacement to the lock being needed yet she was charged 194!!! Supposedly no call out charge so where the hell is that charge coming from. Absolute rip off and won't be using again that's for sure. No replacement key given as my friend had several spares already... Wouldn't give any stars but unfortunately that's not an option.
Excellent free advice! The spring for the latch on my aluminium thermal break back door had failed. The original door manufacturer had long ceased trading, and the actual lock manufacturer (Mila) no longer makes the actual lock that was fitted. I contacted Leigh for advice, and as a result took up his offer to endeavour to find a solution. To save time, and him having to make a site visit, I removed the lock and sent dimensions and pictures of it by email. Within hours Leigh had found a possible replacement part that he could obtain for me. The next morning Leigh had found another cheaper part that I could buy and fit myself, or a better quality part that he would fit for me if required. All this advice and help was provided completely free, and with a real desire to help me even if he would't in fact get the job if I did it myself. Who else would have done that for me, leave alone so quickly? Whilst I did actually carry out the repair myself, I cannot recommend Leigh more highly for both speed of response, courtesy, and determination to provide a customer with a solution.Footnote: I in fact replaced the door handles with ones that had their own, replaceable, springs, and kept the original lock, as any current lock faceplate would have left a 5mm gap top and bottom in the door trim.
Needed a new garage lock after previous owners didnt leave any keys. Came out within a couple of hours and replaced the lock. Wouldnt hesitate to use again. Thanks.
Moved out of an Army quarter and Leigh sorted all my locks out and cleaned up after. Charged me half the rates that I had been quoted by other companies was local too unlike most companies I called. Replaced all my locks including my garage. Even cut extra keys for free, offered warranty and discount for military. Made it an easy experience, already recommended to friends Many thanks Leigh
