Visited here Friday lunchtime Quite expensive for the amount you getOrdered jumbo sausage and regular chips Hardly any chips at allThe only chip shop I've ever been to that doesn't do bread rolls Lady serving miserable and unwelcome Sausage cooked fresh and quality good but let down on the quantity and lack of customer service Wont visit again
Me and my wife ordered here previously, the chips were massively oversalted, (Yes I asked for salt and vinegar, but I didn't say I wanted the chips as an accompaniment.The chips were really soggy which means they were cooked massively in advance, you need to teach your staff portion control, I understand pre blanching them which is fine, which will improve the chips taste giving them a fluffier yet crisp outside.. but then all you need to do is re-fry them as you said below for 75 seconds.. (Which is better than serving your customers inadequate food.)We were also waiting for the meal for about 20 minutes while the place was rather empty, unacceptable service, unacceptable quality, I don't understand how you have received 4.3* overall.If we were not already at home (10 minute walk before you blame this) we would have complained about this while there.
After reading good reviews, popped in for fish and chips. Very, very disappointed. Chips has been cooked WAY in advance. Both fish and chips cooked in re-used oil. Will not go back that's for sure
